What BrewHQ does

One system for the brewery, from the brew sheet to the TTB report.

Built around how the work actually flows: a batch is planned, brewed, fermented, packaged, moved, sold, delivered, invoiced and reported, and every step writes the next one. Here is each part, in the order a day runs.

01

Today

The first screen every morning.

  • What the cellar needs, your tasks, deliveries, stock and money, on one page
  • A morning brief by email, and alerts by email or phone push as things happen
  • Tasks for people with due dates, from any batch, order or the assistant

02

Brewing

A brew sheet that keeps time with you.

  • Brands with versioned recipes: targets, ingredients by stage, mash and water profiles
  • Import recipes from BeerXML or Brewfather and match their ingredients to yours
  • Brew day on a phone at the kettle: timers, targets, readings, then knockout hands the batch to the cellar
  • Brewhouse numbers behind every estimate: efficiency, boil-off, losses

03

Cellar and yeast

Every tank, every day, on one board.

  • Readings, additions and transfers logged on the batch, with fermentation health that flags a stall or a missed reading
  • The tank board and schedule: what is in each vessel, whether it is clean, when it frees up; drag a planned brew to another day or tank
  • A release checklist before beer is packaged, and quality holds that keep a batch off the truck
  • Yeast tracked by strain, lot and generation from purchase through pitch and harvest

04

Ingredients and purchasing

Know what is on the shelf and what it cost.

  • A catalog of everything you buy and the lots you hold, at real landed cost, oldest used first
  • Drop a distributor's price list, PDF, photo or spreadsheet, and every product becomes an item with its pack and price
  • Suggested orders from planned brews and minimums; purchase orders by PDF or email
  • Receive a delivery as one voucher, substitute what the vendor actually sent, and approve the bill before it reaches your books

05

Finished goods

Packaged beer, by brand and package, wherever it is.

  • Coldbox, taproom, warehouse or trailer: in bond or taxpaid, with transfers between them
  • Counts that post the difference, write-offs with a reason, repackaging from kegs to kegs or cans
  • Every movement in a history you can filter, sort and export

06

Selling

From the order to the truck to the invoice.

  • Accounts with terms, reps, delivery preference and their own price sheet
  • Orders that price from the sheet and warn when stock is short, or read straight from the PDF purchase order a distributor sent
  • Delivery days by truck and stop, proof of delivery by signature or photo, invoices and bills of lading as PDF or email
  • Keg deposits charged and credited per account, beer returns as credit notes, donation and sample lines handled properly
  • A password-protected availability page for the trade, without prices or internals
  • A forecast of how fast each brand is leaving and what to brew and buy before it runs out

07

Compliance

The report writes itself from what you already record.

  • The TTB Brewer's Report of Operations and the federal excise return, every line traced to a movement
  • Your state's return at your state's rate, with the agency and where to file; all fifty states and DC
  • Filed periods lock, so what you reported stays what the books say

08

Works with

The register and the accountant, without a second entry.

  • Square: kegs come off stock when the bar rings them tapped, to-go sales deplete the taproom, and the register's counts stay honest
  • Xero and QuickBooks: delivered orders become invoices, approved purchase orders become bills, paid invoices close the order, credit notes follow
  • CSV export of every list, and a full copy of your data whenever you ask

09

The assistant

Ask the brewery a question.

  • Answers about tanks, batches, stock, orders and compliance from your own live records, under your own permissions
  • Records readings, moves beer, drafts orders and assigns tasks, each with your approval first
  • Reads the help guides, and hands you to a person with the conversation attached when it cannot help

10

Your team

Access per person, attribution on everything.

  • Eight roles from owner to viewer; the menu, the pages, the exports and the database all follow the same table
  • Two-factor sign-in, required for the whole brewery if you choose
  • Support built in: report a problem with the page attached, follow the ticket, get an email when there is a reply

See it with your own brewery’s numbers.

Start a brewery, bring in a price list and a recipe, and the rest follows. Signed-in users get the full guides for every screen.
